Last week our U17 played their final game for the season and Trophy Night was held.

The WJSA is in desperate need of additional referees for the upcoming country championships.
Each referee will be paid $25 per game, and $15 for the people running the line.
The WJSA will be paying for any interested person to complete the course to become qualified to level 4 (the minimum requirement for the championships)
Any person over the age of 13 can become a qualified referee.
Please share this post with your networks and help us to get the referees we need for a successful tournament.

The Baines family want to sincerely thank everyone from Steel for your messages of care and support with Ben’s ACL surgery. He had the operation this morning and is doing really well. A bit sore but feeling positive. Will get out of hospital tomorrow and fly home Sunday. We will see you to watch the U17 Cup Final on Wednesday night.

Congratulations to Steel United Soccer Club who again demonstrated their dominance in this age group and won the under 17s league championship undefeated in 2024 after winning their final league game last night.
Steel have also progressed to the cup final and will play again next on the 11 September, at 7pm at Jubilee Park after 2 wins in the round robin cup round. Who Steel will face in the cup final is yet to be determined, with Lions to play Wanderers on Wednesday 5 September, with both hoping to secure a spot in the final
