We are not just a Soccer Club – we are also home to the Warriors Netball Club and Road Runners Softball Club!

Warriors Netball Club

Warriors Netball Club is the oldest club in Whyalla and was established in 1942. Our club has proudly been affiliated with SUSC since 2017.

We are a family friendly, inclusive netball club and welcome new players regardless of your netball skills level, whether you are aiming to play at the highest level or prefer a more social team which can help improve your fitness.

Our netball season is held over the winter – March to September, with pre-seasons trainings starting in January. Pre-season training is compulsory for A and B grades, but all players are welcome to join in.

Registrations & training for all grades commence in February each year. Training nights are on Tuesdays and all games are held on Saturdays.

For more information, please contact President Alex Milne – Mobile 0455 556 084 or Vice President Kate Deakin – Mobile 0413 796 557 or check out our Facebook or Instagram social media platforms.

Over the years Roadies have produced many state players with some going on to play in higher grades in Adelaide including state coaches.

The aim of our club is to foster and nurture our junior players as we look at them as our future.

Our club supplies your uniform and the majority of the playing equipment, if you want to come and have a go, every body is most welcome to come along to training and try out.

Roadrunners current committee:

Briony Roughsedge – President
Kylie Whibley – Vice President
Secretary – Sarah Haake
Treasurer – Rachael Fowler

Our club only consists of softball at the moment, a great bunch of girls who strive to keep the clubs name alive.

Past players Scott Preiss (Former President) and Dave Adams help endlessly and are the current softball coaches.

In 2021 Roadrunners became affilated with Steel United Soccer Club.
